Golem - Stats, Cost & How to Unlock

Rarity: Epic

Role: Tank

Cost: $25,000

How to Unlock the Golem

The Golem is the $25,000 Epic tank — the first unit in Command An Army built to be hit rather than to hit. Reaching it is a genuine mid-game goal: with a Wizard-Healer core running, most players bank $25,000 across a few sessions of raids and offline attack earnings. This is the purchase that ends the era of replacing dead frontliners every raid.

Combat Performance

Community estimates put a fresh Golem at roughly 2,400 HP — an order of magnitude beyond anything in the Common and Uncommon brackets — with modest melee damage and a slow walk. What it buys you is time: waves spend themselves on the Golem while your Wizard, Witch and Archers fire for free. It does not clear raids alone, and that is the point. One Golem plus an established backline roughly doubles how far a push travels.

Stats and Upgrades (Community Estimates)

Golem upgrades scale health first — players report each tier adding chunky flat HP that keeps pace with rising wave damage well into the late game. Because so many late-game systems (stars, evolution, ascension) multiply base stats, HP invested on the Golem compounds harder than on any unit before it. Upgrade it before your damage units once the backline can already kill waves; damage you already have, tanking you always need more of.

Where It Fits in Your Army

The Golem is the wall your entire formation organizes around, and the stepping stone to the Titan at $50,000. Golem in front, Healer sustaining it, Wizard splashing — that trio is the strongest army you can field before Legendary cash, and it keeps earning as the second wall next to a Titan later. When raid distance is the goal (the 1,000 Distance! badge is a real milestone), the Golem is what gets you there.
